We've Rebranded!

When I first launched the company as a lonely ‘contractor’ all those years ago, I just wanted a company name that I could trade under, whilst operating on my own supporting businesses doing IT Service Management related short term gigs. As such, I just started operating under a non-descript name, as it didn’t really matter (or at least I didn’t think it mattered…) at the time.

Back then of course when it was just me operating on my own, I never thought of it becoming a brand that people would know me by, but guess what, over time we’ve built a great team of Service Management experts, doing some brilliant work for some big brand clients, and with the power of word of mouth and LinkedIn, sure enough it has become a brand.

The problem is, that HIACM doesn’t mean much to people and often gets forgotten, confused, miss-pronounced (I’ve heard a few great examples!) - none of which are good for business really!

So after giving this some thought recently and thinking about what we known for? .. well we’re known for being the ITSM People… So this got me thinking! So after giving this some thought (probably too much thought) and canvassing some responses from people in the industry who I wholeheartedly trust, I’ve taken the decision to rebrand the company to something more familiar, easy to remember, and hopefully a bit more self-explanatory as to who we are..

As such, we’ve now rebranded the company are now called ‘The ITSM People’ Obviously, it’s business as usual for our clients, with the same great team and the huge amount of skills and experience in the Service Management space, but it will be a more obvious and familiar brand for those that know us (and that those that don’t). If you’re still not sure what we do or how we can help you, take a look around the site, or just send me a message and we can have a chat

Best wishes

Tim and the ITSM People

p.s. I've just realised that actually sounds a bit like a crap band name

p.p.s I've also just noticed that it could be read as 'Its M People'.. (anyone remember them) - maybe our strap line should be 'Moving on up' ? :)
